The Sacremento Kings are a basketball team that is located in Sacramento California. They are the only team from the major sports in Sacramento. Their home games are played at the Sleep Train Arena. The Kings started as a semi-professional basketball team in Rochester New York during the early 1920s. With them starting out this early they are known as one of the oldest basketball teams in the league. They joined the NBA in 1945 and they were called the Rochester Royals. They moved along to the BAA in 1948 and later in 1949 they became a part of the NBA. Tickets are available for every Kings game at the Sleep Train Arena and away.
