Jason Aldine Williams, known professionally as Jason Aldean, was born on 28 February 1977 in Macon, Georgia. Jason Aldean is an American musician and his specialty is country music.
Music started for Jason Aldean as a hobby that he practiced from the age of 3 with his father. The instrument with which he practiced was the guitar and which is still with him to this day. After a while, he could play a song after hearing it a few times and he soon had his own guitar.
With encouragement from both parents, he practiced his music and soon had a list of favorites that he could perform from. And with high school over, he had a band and they performed at clubs and festivals. After struggling for several years with his career, accepting, and refusing offers, he finally signed with Broken Bow Records in 2005. Along with his agent Kevin Neal – who is still his agent – he released his debut self-titled album, of which three singles, "Why" (Number 1), "Amarillo Sky" (Number 4), and “Hicktown” (Number 10) managed top spots on Billboard Hot Country Songs Charts.
In 2007, Jason Aldean released his second album "Relentless". The album had the single "Johnny Cash" that got originally recorded by Tracy Byrd, but it was Jason Aldean’s version that peaked at Number 6 on Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and it was also certified Platinum by RIAA.
Aldean released his seventh single "She's Country”, in 2008 and this song served as the lead-off single from his third album "Wide Open", which was released on April 7, 2009. This song happened to be his seventh consecutive hit on the country charts as well as his first Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. While this song became his second number one hit, the album debuted at No 2 on his 1st Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.
And, in 2010 with the lead single "My Kinda Party" entering the Hot Country Songs chart, he later released his album by the same name "My Kinda Party" of which the duet with Kelly Clarkson "Don’t You Wanna Stay" received positive recognition as well as peaked at Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart.
2012 saw him release his fifth album "Night Train" which was preceded by the single "Take a Little Ride" and included some of his most recognized songs; "The Only Way I Know” – with Luke Bryan and Eric Church, “1994 - A Tribute to Joe Diffie", and “When She Says Baby”, among others.
2014 saw Jason Aldean release his sixth album "Old Boots, New Dirt" in October with the single "Burnin' It Down" reaching Number 1 on both Hot Country Songs and Country Airplay charts.
Jason Aldean’s latest work to date is the seventh album "They Don’t Know" released in 2016, and followed by his eighth album "Rearview Town" released in April 2018. He won his first Entertainer of the Year Award at ACM Awards in 2016 and managed to win it again in the following years 2017 and 2018.
