Jon Pardi (Jonathan Ryan Pardi) was born on May 20, 1985. He is an American country music singer, songwriter, and also a record producer. He was born and raised in Dixon, California. His love for music all began very early, it was not mere music but country music, and the little credit to his love for music goes to the country karaoke machine which was owned by his grandmother.
He was very much attracted and spellbound to the musical work of country music artists like George Jones, George Strait, and Hank Williams. With being inspired by such remarkable artists, Jon began playing guitar at an early age of seven. At his father’s 30th birthday, he played “Friends in Low Places”. By the time he became 12 years of age, he started to write his own songs. Jon Pardi was joined his first band when he was 14 years old.
He attended high school in Dixon itself, and after he graduated, he got on with his music. Country music was all he was in love with. Thus, he formed a duo with his friend Chase McGrew and they both began to perform at regional clubs and bars. For them, education was equally important to the interest they showed in music. So, the duo left Dixon and they moved together to Chico. They attended Butte Junior College and continued their education there for three years, and for their love for music they played in a local band named Northern Comfort.
Nashville is very much known as the home of country music and Jon Pardi’s dream was to end up anyhow into Nashville as making a successful mark in country music was all that he desired. In the year 2008, Jon Pardi moved to Nashville at the age of 23. At the beginning of his settlement in Nashville, Jon Pardi worked as a Lifeguard to support himself financially but in just one and a half year, Jon landed a publishing deal only because of his narrative songwriting. He worked really hard and also got very much innovative in his writing. He mastered his writing skills and at times he would sing his own demos of the song.
In the year 2010, Jon Pardi toured for his label mate Dierks Bentley where he gave out an opening act. He was recognized and later signed by Capitol Records, Nashville.
Pardi’s demo sessions were all handled by his friend and collaborator Bart Butler, and that made him the producer to Jon Pardi as well. From the debut album project, Pardi released his first single “Missin’ You Crazy” in the spring of 2012. And with the release of “Up All Night”, in the year 2013, Pardi got listed in the Top 10 of the country singles chart. His debut studio album "Write You a Song" got released in early 2014. The album was at the number third position on the country albums chart and it was the 14th on the Top 200 listings. Soon after, Jon Pardi began to focus on his second album, and soon a track from the project called “Head Over Boots” got released, and it became another hit reaching the 19th position. His second studio album "California Sunrise" was released on June 17, 2016.
