Both the albums portray neo soul styles which took inspirations from song structures of the year 1960 and 1970s rock. The 20/20 Experience became the best-selling album of the year in the United States and it had the top singles like “Suit & Tie” and “Mirrors”. From his fourth album, the single track “Not A Bad Thing” also became the best-selling one.
During the year 2008, Justin diverted from his musical career and focused on his acting career by keeping a hold on his musical career. Movies like "The Social Network", "Bad Teacher", "Friends with Benefits" and "In Time" features Justin in prime roles. He also voiced the lead character for Dreamworks Animation’s movie "Trolls" in the year 2016.
About 32 million albums and 56 million singles were sold globally and he gained the recognition as one of the world’s best-selling music artists.
Timberlake has won a good number of awards and accolades, which included ten Grammy Awards, four Emmy Awards, three Brit Awards and nine Billboard Music Awards. He has won the title as the best performing male soloist and Time Magazine has named him as the 100 most influential people in the world both in the year 2007 and 2013. Forbes Magazine rated Justin Timberlake in the second position as the “Best-Paid Celebrities under 30” list and he was also the “Greatest of All Time Pop Songs Artists” in 2017.
