U2 are a well known Irish rock band from Dublin. The band was formed in 1976. The band is composed of 4 artists who are experts in their own field of expertise. The group is consisted of Bono (lead vocals and guitar), the Edge (guitar, keyboards, and backing vocals), Adam Clayton (bass guitar), and Larry Mullen Jr. (drums and percussion). The Joshua Tree Tour 2017
The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 is a forthcoming international concert tour by rock band U2. The band declared that they are going on tour in order to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album, The Joshua Tree. The Joshua Tree was their fifth album and it was released in 1987. It is the album that made the band superstars worldwide. The album presented them their best critical and commercial success. The tour is all set to start on 12th May 2017 and will end on 1st August 2017.
The Joshua Tree Tour 2017 is scheduled to visit stadiums across two legs. The band will cross over North America from May to July. They will go through Europe from July to August. The tour was declared on 9 January 2017. As part of the tour, U2 also have the plan to go to the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee in June.
U2 have proved that they are one of the world's best-selling music artists of all time as they could sell 1.1 million tickets in 24 hours. Although, the tour starts in the North America in mid-May and cross over the United States with some chosen dates in Canada as well, approximately every single one of those dates has observed every ticket grabbed up right away. Pre-sale tickets of the tour were first offered to U2.com subscribers on 11 January. The ticket went on sale to the general public on 16th January for European shows and on 17th January for North American shows.
