The 2012 Kansas City Chiefs put up a lousy 2-14 record yet still managed to send six players to the pro bowl. The team had talent but couldn't put it together. Fans hope that new head coach Andy Reid will help the Chiefs return to the playoffs for the first time since 2010. New quarterback Alex Smith will have weapons in Dwayne Bowe and Jamaal Charles to feed the ball to in 2013. The top pick in this year’s draft, right tackle Eric Fisher will look to open up running lanes for Charles and give Smith time to get the ball down field. On defense, newly acquired cornerback Sean Smith joins Pro Bowler Tamba Hali. With Eric Berry prowling the back end, the Chiefs 3-4 defense will look to stop Peyton Manning and compete for the AFC West crown. If Andy Reid can get the team to gel, a quick turnaround could be the case.
